Steve Tobin’s Intertwined: Exploring Nature’s Networks at Houston Botanic Garden features monumental sculptures by the American artist, who is world-renowned for his works in glass, bronze, ceramic, and steel. I was tasked with creating a visual brand for the exhibition that would be used in print and digital marketing materials, as well as development campaigns and merchandise. In the graphics, I utilized shapes from Tobin’s “Steelroots” sculpture, and incorporated gradient textures to nod to his use of metal materials, some reflective and some rough.
